FIHS made an appearance at Techfair.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, we had a rare opportunity to present our lecture seminar at the Techfair trade fair, which took place at the Czech Technical University in Prague at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics. We prepared a modest stand, and Dominik and Dominika also gave a lecture about our activities.

Visitors to the fair could try out various brain teasers at our stand, which reflected the exploratory spirit of our seminar. They could learn more about our event and why they should participate. For example: we were one of the few stands to offer refreshments, including chocolate gingerbread cookies in the shape of the Einstein tiles, a pattern that can be used to tile a plane without repetition.

In their presentation, Dominika Burešová and Dominik Beck summarized the essentials of our event. The half-hour presentation was an interesting part of a series of lectures within the Tech Girls Zone, where mainly women talk about their activities and experiences in the technical and scientific sector.
